(Update from Ms Natalie)

As we finish up April we will be closing shop for the year at the Suncreek Vet Hospital and Grooming Center. We have cared for these pets…they have had all the illnesses that kids can think of!  Once the many loving care takers made them better, off to the groomer where they were treated to the best of the best.  Miss Natalie even took part in some of the grooming….until her hair got tangled in a roller brush!!!!

We finished out the unit cooking puppy chow for kids.  The kids enjoyed it and they all told me they would NOT share with their real animals because DOGS can’t have chocolate.

Pablo and I are doing great and the kids are keeping us on our toes.  With each class we have continued to work on songs from Ms Blanca and now are pretty great at the numbers, colors, and animals.  I have tried to teach the children a motion with each subject I go over with them since I believe that we learn best if we have several ways to use our brains in order to recall what we are learning.  Spanish has been such a fun time for me this year….can wait to see what next year holds.

The kids have now been introduced to KID Pix in the computer lab.  The program really requires them to sure their skills from this entire year to create.  They enjoy it and are starting to come up with great work.  We usually try to use the iPad at some point in the day as well. This month, we watched weather reports on the iPad and then used the computer program in science house to create one of our own.

I hope you all enjoy the beautiful weather on tap for this weekend!
