I can’t believe March is upon us!! This school year is just flying by way too fast. March will be a short and very busy month with Spring Break right in the middle of it all. With March brings Dr Seuss’s Birthday, spring and insects. Our color of the month will be green and the shape is the diamond. We will be doing letter review of all the letters we have studied so far this year and focus on the letters R and S. Our bible story for March is Noah and the bible verse will be “Noah listened and obeyed God.” Genesis 6:22. In honor of Dr Seuss’s birthday we are encouraging you to “Read Everyday” with your child and keep track of your daily reading on the chart that was sent home this week in your child’s folder. Please refer to the flier I sent last week with the month’s activities for our service project that will go along with this later in the month.
As you will be able to see from the pictures included in this email we had a fun filled February! We had fun Valentine’s parties, Cupid even made a visit in the Pre K classes and enjoyed a pizza party last week to celebrate the letter P. Last week we all loved wearing our pjs to school…..even Pastor Milton joined in! Love the team spirit!! This week the children enjoyed cooking in Centers and found the Friendship Dip very yummy!!
Spring Individual & Class Pictures next Wednesday & Thursday – March 5th & 6th – Threes & M/W Rainbow, Orange & Green will have their photos taken on March 5th & Pre K and T/TH Rainbow, Orange and Green will have theirs taken on March 6th. **Please see the attached flier** this is also in your child’s folder today/tomorrow. No order forms will go out before picture day.
Cell phones: As a reminder please keep your phones with you turned on during the school day while your child is with us so that we can get in touch with you in case of an emergency. We need to be able to reach you at the number you have listed on the sign in sheet for that day while your child is in our care.
Pick up time: Pick up is at 2pm daily – Please be on time at 2:00 and not arriving at 2:10-2:15, that is considered late. The teachers need to leave by 2:15 to pick up their own children each day. Thanks in advance!
Have a wonderful evening!!
