• The preschool will be offering a vision and hearing screening next Wednesday, January 24th. All children that turned 4 on or by September 1st (2017) must show proof that they have had this testing done. If your child has not had this screening done by your doctor and I don’t have a copy of it please plan to have your child screened by the service that will be here on the 24th. The form to register will be going home next week in all the folders for the children that this applies to (all of the 4 year old classrooms). Any other child in the school may have the screening done but it is completely optional. (Only mandatory for children that were 4 by Sept. 1st). You will need to pick the from the preschool office.
• Illness: PLEASE be vigilant about keeping your child home if they are sick. As I’m sure you’ve heard in the news the flu is at its peak right now and its very important that we don’t spread it throughput the school. Thanks in advance!!

Do you ever think, “there has got to be a better way to parent!”? Are you looking for answers to things like:
How can I get my children to???
listen the first time stop arguing with me appreciate the things they have
be more responsible treat me with more respect stop bickering with each other
be a joy to be around
This course is bound to bring you many laughs while teaching you simple, yet very effective skills and techniques for an easier, more peaceful way to parent. Feel supported by Amy (who is the parent of two teens!) and enjoy getting to know other parents who can relate to your own frustrations and fears.
A heads up that next Thursday, January 25th our Pre K classes (Red, Purple, Sky Blue and Gold Rooms) will have their annual Fairy Tale Parade throughout the preschool starting at 9:15. I invite any and all parents to hang around after drop off to see the parade. It’s super cute!!
Lastly, I wanted to share a free parenting App with you! I was at an area director’s meeting yesterday and the guest speaker from the Collin County Early Childhood Coalition was talking about it and I checked it out. It looks fun and will give you daily tips that are fun activities to do with your child. It’s called Daily Vroom.
I hope you have a great weekend! It’s finally supposed to be warmer 🙂
