Good morning!  Hope you are staying warm!!  It looks like we are in for some very cold weather for a few days as well as some precipitation.  It is January after all and with that at Suncreek Kids it brings winter activities in the classroom as well as transportation for our two and three year olds and fairy tales with the Pre K classes. The color of the month is white and the shape is the triangle. Letters this month are g, s and j.  Of course we review all letters that have been introduced up to this point this year before we move onto g, s and j. The monthly bible verse is “Do what the Lord says is good and right.”  Deuteronomy 6:18.  The monthly Fruit of the Spirit is Goodness and for chapel time Rainbow, Orange and Green will learn about Jesus as he has grown up and the threes and fours will learn about Jesus as a healer. Many fun activities going on each and every day!  It’s so nice to see everyone back and getting back into the routines of life J

A few reminders for the month!

  •  No School – Monday, Jan. 19th – MLK Holiday
  • Monthly fire drill – Thurs. Jan. 22nd 10am
  • Family Chapel – Week of Jan. 26th
  • In house registration for next school year (2015-2016) begins – Monday, Jan. 26th starting at 9am at drop off in the Round Room.  Paperwork for currently enrolled students and their siblings (18 months – 4 yrs by Sept. 1st) will be sent home in your child’s folder on Jan. 21st for M/W students and on Jan. 22nd for all other students.  Pre K does offer a three day and four day option.  Purple Room is the three day (MWTH) and Sky Blue & Red is the four day option (MTWTH).  Both options are FABULOUS and your child will excel in whichever option you choose for them.  The curriculum is the same and all the teachers that teach on the Pre K are phenomenal and will love your child and prepare them for Kindergarten. Guaranteed!!  If you have any questions about next year and the classroom your child will be moving onto I encourage you to visit with your child’s current teacher and discuss (Those going into Pre K). I am always here to answer any questions you may have as well.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend!  Go Cowboys!!
