This month the children will be learning about the themes of fall & Thanksgiving (of course).  The bible verse this month is “Give thanks to the Lord for he is good.”  Psalm 106:1 In chapel they will be learning the story of Jesus feeding the 5,000 and in addition the 3 & Pre K classes will have  stories of Moses.  It will feel like a quick month with a week’s vacation in it.

Here are a few dates for you to put on your calendar.

  • November tuition is due
  • Food Drive – Next week………please bring your grocery sack donation and drop in the cart starting on Monday!

  • Christmas Program – Tuesday, December 6th 6:30pm in the Suncreek UMC sanctuary.  All children that are students at Suncreek Kids do perform in this program.  Children are encouraged to dress in their Sunday best.  The program will be filmed and you will have a chance to purchase a DVD. More information to come………….

Lastly, next Tuesday is election day and Suncreek UMC is a polling site.  The polling area is across on the other side of the Suncreek property on the (west side) in Palmer Hall.  Suncreek Kids will operate as normal that day but we will plan to have indoor recess that day.  You may also see a county deputy on the property that day that may be at our entrance at drop off and at pickup just to help control traffic.

A HUGE thank you to SO many of you for your very generous donations to the bike-a-thon!  We are still collecting donations so if you haven’t had a chance to turn yours in yet there is still time. In addition I know many of you shopped at the bazaar the last couple days and hopefully you found some great holiday gifts and fun treats.  Just a reminder that 10% of each vendors total sales came back to the preschool J  Also, in case you still wanted to shop for the teachers from the wish lists they filled out,  I still have them and you can still shop for them by contacting the individual vendor to do so.  If you would like to do that just email me or stop by the preschool office and I can help you with that vendor information.
