Good afternoon!
I am looking forward to some real fall weather that is to set to arrive this afternoon and tonight……..so excited to see very cool temperatures in the forecast! We had a very busy week at Suncreek Kids. The classes all took a visit earlier in the week to the Suncreek pumpkin patch and enjoyed story time and a stroll through the pumpkins. I invite all of you to take advantage and visit it. Remember the purchases benefit the Suncreek youth.
All the children had a special chapel time this week with Pastor Tom and he shared with the children his job as a community helper as Sr. Pastor of Suncreek UMC. We sang songs together and he shared many things with the children about his job. He reminded us that we are all community helpers and that god doesn’t love us just a little but a lot! Family chapel is next week so I encourage you to attend!!
We practiced our monthly fire drill today and all the children did a wonderful job exiting the building quickly. Next week we will do our quarterly bad weather (tornado) drill on Wednesday, Oct. 31st at 9:45am. We also have our Halloween parties next Tuesday and Wednesday. I encourage you to not send your child to school in their costumes as they will be more comfortable just wearing it at the party. If you can attend the party and help the teachers with that it would be so appreciated. Thanks!! It is always so much fun!
Today is the day I need all school picture orders turned into Diana. She will be here at pickup and she can also be contacted directly.
Lastly, please turn all Bike-a-thon donations into the office by Thursday, Oct. 31st. We appreciate all of your generous support!! Due to the busy time of the year we will not be sending another one in December so if you are wanting to order books as a Christmas gift for your child you will want to take advantage of this order.****** Thanks!!
