It has been a busy and fun week at the preschool!! I have several important things in this week’s update for you 🙂
- No school Monday – Suncreek Kids will be closed for Columbus Day (Allen ISD holiday)
- October tuition is due
- Vendors are still needed for the Suncreek Kids Christmas Bazaar – if you are interested or know someone that might be please contact event coordinator Anna Borel at a@borel.name

We are so excited for our 7th annual Suncreek Kids Bike-a-thon. What a great day of fun and fitness! All children will participate in the bike-a-thon during their class recess time. ****The volunteer sign-up list is at the preschool front desk now.***** The pledge envelopes are going home in your child’s folder today (and went home yesterday) so that you can begin collecting pledges for your little biker. Friends and relatives may pledge an amount per lap or a flat amount. The general rule of thumb for the number of laps that each child will ride is 2 laps per age of the child. The older children often ride more than the average though. All funds raised will be used for classroom and curriculum needs at Suncreek Kids. More specific details about this fun event will be coming your way the week before the event.

- School Directory – The Suncreek Kids family directory is going home in your child’s folder today.
- Suncreek UMC Events:
Hey Parents, need a night out? Drop your kids off at Cantate’s Parent’s Night Out on Friday, October 15 from 6-10 PM in the children’s wing of Suncreek UMC. We’ll have pizza and entertainment for potty-trained 3 year olds through 5th graders. Cost is $25 per child with a maximum of $50 per family.
Lastly, today and yesterday were busy and exciting days at the preschool. The annual fire truck visit happened (pictures will be shared by your classroom teachers so look for those) and school pictures were taken. In a few days an envelope of your child’s proofs and order information will go home in your child’s folder. At that time you will be able to order your school pictures. As always this is completely optional. We will have school pictures again on March 1st & 2nd and class pictures (the group with teachers) will be taken.
